The six laws related to environmental protection and wildlife are: 

  1. The Environment (Protection) Act, 1986; 
  2. The Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980; 
  3. The Wildlife Protection Act, 1972; 
  4. Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974; 
  5. Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981
  6. The Indian Forest Act, 1927.
